Town Hall & Traps

Town Hall Weapon Levels Removed

No more upgrade bottlenecks for TH12 to TH15.

  • Weapon upgrades at TH12–15 are gone.
  • All Town Halls now get a Level 1 weapon — with the max stats from before.
  • Just like TH16’s model.
  • Ongoing upgrades are cancelled with no resource refund.

Home Village Spring Trap Rework

Spring Traps get smarter and meaner.

  • Targets the largest troop in range after triggering.
  • If troop size ≤ trap capacity → ejected.
  • If larger → heavy damage (half if Hero). If killed → ejected anyway.
  • If alive → briefly launched into the air.
  • Traps won’t stack damage on the same airborne target.

Builder Base Spring Trap Rework

Same trap logic now powers up Builder Base.

  • Reworked functionality mirrors Home Village version.
  • Level 5 Spring Trap added.
  • Spring Capacity is now fixed at 4 for all levels.

Balance Tweaks

Little changes, big impact.

  • Diggy now stuns all targets on surfacing — even Heroes and CC troops.
  • Heroic Torch now boosts Grand Warden movement too.
  • Warden is less likely to follow Boogers.
  • Defensive Furnace nerfed slightly — 1 Firemite no longer wipes out a max Healer.

UI & Quality of Life Improvements

Smoother menus, smarter sorting, more info.

  • Town Hall description cleaned up.
  • Builder Base Heroes now display ability-level bar.
  • Headhunter now shows poison damage.
  • Hero Hall equipment sorted by unlock order — no more reshuffling by level.
  • Clashmas Trees now show year released (show off your OG 2012 one!).
  • Clan Games now always show 8 HV tasks + 4 BB tasks.

Economy & Progression

Upgrade Costs & Times (Big Pass)

  • Hero Levels Rebalanced: 5 levels each for BK, AQ, GW move from TH15 → TH14 for smoother progression.

Multiplayer Loot: Penalties & New Bonuses

  • Existing penalty vs lower TH remains.
  • New bonus when attacking higher TH:

FYI frequency: Attacking +2 TH is < 1/1000 battles across levels.

Loot Cart

More active gameplay = more reward sources.

  • Loot Cart payout reduced from 20% → 10% of your biggest defense loss.
  • Cart now updates only if a new attack steals more of any resource.

Shields, Guard & Revenge (Major Overhaul)

RIP Village Guard

Removed the Guard that is granted to players after a shield expires ---> No replacement in the new system.

No more automatic protection.

  • Village Guard is removed:
    • No longer awarded after defenses or Shield expiration.
    • Gone from the Shop too.
Removed the Guard from the shop --> No replacement in the new system
  • There is no replacement — because something new is coming…

Meet the Magic Shield (Shield System Rework)

Say goodbye to classic Shields — the Magic Shield is here.

  • Awarded when attackers steal ≥30% of available loot (DE scaled ×100).
  • Lasts a flat 8 hours, regardless of Trophy League.
  • Prevents loss of loot/trophies — attacks hit your Shadow Base instead.
  • Defender sees logs, but keeps everything.
  • You can still attack without losing Shield time.
Executing a multiplayer or revenge attack while under a Magic Shield does not impact the time remaining on the attacker’s Magic Shield.
  • Shield purchasable in Shop as before (1d/2d/1w).
  • Active Magic Shields can be dismissed at any time.

Revenge is Back!

Revenge is revamped — and better than ever.

  • Works even if target has a Magic Shield.
  • Eligible if attacker stole ≥30% of your available loot.
  • 12-hour revenge window (unless replay invalid or expired).
  • Attacks go to a Shadow Base (same as all shielded battles).
  • System ensures you can win back what was stolen.
  • Rewards include:
    • Loot (auto topped-up)
    • League Bonus
    • Star Bonus progress
    • Event currencies, chests, etc.

Important: No re-revenges allowed. Once it’s done, it’s done.

Platform Deprecation Notice

With this update, support ends for:

  • Amazon Appstore – full removal from all devices.
  • iOS 14 and lower
  • Android 6 and lower

Bug Fixes (Highlights)

  • Forge affordability display corrected.
  • Yetimites now spawn scattered (not stacked).

  • Ice Block interactions fixed (penetrating projectiles & underground units).
  • War scout arrows load correctly.

That’s it for Day 1! Stay tuned for more sneak peeks, and use code CHAMPS for your in-game purchases.
